The answers to the questions on the visa application form must be exhaustive. Applications without a cover letter will not be processed until the fully completed form is received.
Ordinary business visa is issued to Australian Citizens and other nationals who are the holders of Australian residency visa to enter the Russian Federation for the purpose of business (business negotiations, seminars, conferences, meeting business partners etc.)
The visa is issued based on an invitation issued by the General Administration for Migration Issues of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (Russian MFA).
Business visas can be applied for single, double or multi entry and issued for the period of 30, 90, 180 or 365 days (even more in certain cases, based on the dates provided in the invitation obtained from MIA). The duration of stay in the Russian Federation with a multiple-entry visa may not exceed 90 days within any 180 days period.
Visa are issued accordingly to tourist voucher or any other visa invitations entry and exit dates.

Important! In case you have two or more valid passports, please make sure there are no valid Russian visas in any of the passports before submitting your visa application.
Please note! Russian Consular Offices may request additional supporting visa documents, invite you for an interview or extend the time of visa issuing procedure.
Visa application for minors under 18 years of age:
If visa application is filled on behalf of children under 18 years of age, copy of birth certificate of applicant and the copy of front page passport of parent must be included in the supporting documents.
